Opportunities to Get Involved

Are you ready to provide encouragement and emotional support to another parent or caretaker raising a child with a disability, chronic illness, or special health care need?

Become a volunteer Mentor Parent with our Parent-to-Parent program!

Mentors are raising children with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or special health care needs.

Mentors are volunteers trained and supported by Parent to Parent TN.

Mentors provide support by offering a safe space for another person raising a child with a similar disability, chronic illness, or special healthcare need to share and ask questions.

Mentors are not medical experts.

Mentors do not have all the answers.

Mentors “get it.”
